Westhill District ASC

An ASA qualified Club Coach (2000) with over 32 years’ experience as a swim coach. In that time, I have had the privilege of guiding 100’s of athletes in training and competitions, my most notable accomplishments to date have been coaching several swimmers to North District and Scottish Age Group Records as well as coaching a swimmer to silver medals in both 100 and 200 metre breaststroke at the British Age Group Championships at Ponds Forge in Sheffield.

My coaching philosophy is focused on developing each swimmer to uncover their true potential by aligning their actions with their core values to achieve their optimum. All of this is realised through teamwork, building trust and mutual respect.

My mantra has always been … ‘give me the child and I will deliver the swimmer’.
