Westhill District ASC

One of the lead coaches for Entry Squad. Been part of Westhill District Amateur Swimming Club for 14 years.

I got involved as a poolside helper when my eldest son started Entry Squad. After a few years I took over as lead coach for Bronze Squad and after another couple of years became lead coach of Silver Squad. Just before COVID I coached junior masters squad and when we got back into the pool again I was asked to be the lead coach for Entry.

I was a competitive swimmer from a young age for Aberdeen Dolphins, competing at district and national level.

In 2015 I completed my swimming teaching qualification and started teaching at Westhill pool. I later completed my coaching qualification.

Even though my children are no longer a part of the club I enjoy being involved with the club and seeing the swimmers improve through each season.
