Congratulations to all of our athletes at the Banchory Challenge meet on 21st September. Lots of good swims and medals galore.
Westhill District Amateur Swimming Club (WDASC), founded in 1993 as a non-profit, is one of the leading clubs in the Scottish North District.
Run entirely by volunteers, it promotes excellence in swimming within a supportive and fair environment. The club focuses on both competitive success and developing qualities like focus, discipline, and hard work in its athletes.
With around 100 swimming members aged 7 and up, swimmers regularly compete from local galas to national events. Training takes place at Westhill Swimming Pool, managed by Aberdeenshire Council.
Westhill District ASC was awarded Aquamark Level 1 accreditation from Scottish Swimming in July 2024. The club has started the application process for Aquamark 2 accreditation.
