Westhill District ASC

Westhill District ASC was awarded Aquamark Level 1 accreditation from Scottish Swimming in July 2024.

This new accreditation scheme sets out a nationally recognised standard that enables clubs to achieve the following:

• Be inclusive, adhere to equality standards and engage with the local community
• Develop safe, effective, well governed, welcoming, and friendly environments, based on good practice
• Improve the club experience for all members by having an agreed vision and culture
• Strive to be a long-term sustainable club focused on developing pathways for all.

Aquamark Level 1 accreditation recognises that our club has all appropriate policies and procedures in place to ensure we are a safe and well governed Club.

We don’t want to stop there. This year the club is working towards achieving Level 2 accreditation. This level focuses on how we can develop as a club and create a strong culture and welcoming environment throughout the club.
